With a strong resonant voice, Laurie Muggleton is a complete and polished entertainment experience. He has the unique ability to convey feelings and emotions via his music to his audience en masse, whilst at the same time touching each individual with his warm sincere personality. His repertoire consists predominantly of material he has recorded, on two double C.D.albums; 'HEARTWARMING SOUNDS OF COUNTRY MUSIC' and 'STILL OVER THE EDGE' - now available in Laurie's C.D. SHOP. This is complemented with a selection of evergreen favourites and humourous audience interactve songs - a combination that highlights his talent and versatility. |
In 1973, Laurie began his career as a professional entertainer in Toowoomba Queensland. Since then he has pursued this same career throughout Australia as vocalist/guitarist with bands he formed, as a solo performer and the position he enjoys most, co-ordinator/compere/entertainer of the many package shows he has been contracted to organise. |
In 1990 and 1991, Laurie made his entrance into mainstream country music by being a Starmaker Finalist at Tamworth's Country Music Festival and has since developed into a very popular Country Music Entertainer/Personality. |
There is an ever increasing demand for Laurie to entertain at Country Music Festivals and Cabaret/Concerts, to which he is only too happy to oblige and enhance these events with his crowd pleasing perfomances. Particularly when the program includes a Professional Reading Band to support their Guest Artists. |
Laurie has built a very respectable rapport with Established Entertainers and Developing New Talant in the Country Music Envionment, giving him an endless wealth of entertainers to draw from for his 'FEAST OF COUNTRY' package shows. Since 1993, Laurie has been proud to present his 'FEAST OF COUNTRY' concerts at Tamworth and the Mildura Country Music Festivals, and many other venues throughtout QLD, N.S.W. and Victoria. |
